My creative strategy was to create a product that is aesthetically and sustainably driven that highlights the product’s effectiveness and elevates its user experience. To reach the modern audience of outdoor enthusiasts, I wanted a sleek and minimal packaging. Taking the time to personally make my product, I was able to be trained in laser engraving and physically transfer my designs onto the wood. In addition, I was able to stage and photograph my work, resulting in a piece that it solely my own. The result was an attractive, contemporary laser engraved wooden box, which itself could be burned with the last use, leaving zero landfill waste.
